If you’re in New Delhi and willing to spend a weekend away from all the chaos of a National Capital (with elections approaching and a million other reasons) then this is probably the best place to go during this time of the year.
Flowers are in full bloom, the skies are generally overcast, windy and the temperature generally low even at noon.
Located about 3 kms from the village, Ghargaria on the way to Hemkund Sahib (A popular sikh pilgrimage site) in the state of Uttarakhand. This place has weak cell phone connectivity and situated at a height of 3049 meters above sea level.

Further up east is the mighty Nanda Devi national park, the home of several endangered animals like the Asiatic lion, Asiatic black bear, snow leopard and blue sheep.
It is also a World heritage site.
